Q: Do I have to join a team to play in IPO league?
A: No, IPO is for individuals to play league without joining a team. No set schedules for play.
Q: Do I/AM I committed to play on a certain night or time?
A: NO, our players choose when and where anytime day or night.
Q: Can I play at the location of my choice?
A: YES, players can play league anywhere they find an opponent whether it be local or out of town.
The choice of place is the players in IPO league.
Q: Can you play both 8 ball and 9 ball?
A: Yes, IPO is all about giving our players the most choices.
Q: Can I just be a league operator or do I have to play?
A: Yes, you can choose to operate as a business only. However, it is encouraged that you be involved in some aspect of the pool for recruitment purposes.
Q: How often do I have to pay dues?
A: Once per session, with four sessions per year which is 8.00
Q: Can I play on IPO and play on a different league?
A: YES! In fact, IPO encourages participation in other leagues.
Q: What measures are in place to make sure that no player cheats?
A: IPO LEAGUE is a ZERO TOLERANCE League when it comes to cheating!!! If after proper investigation a player/players is found cheating the player or players will be banned from IPO League everywhere and will automatically forfeit their rights as such including but not limited to the loss of membership, rank, potential payout money and all fees and dues and that have been paid to IPO League. That player or players will also lose and forfeit all business development, income and potential future income they have established as a part of IPO League whether they are a player only or a league operator in IPO League.
Q: If I didn’t originally sign up to be an operator can I still become one?
A: Yes, and the sooner the better! Playing IPO is fun and exciting but…building a business around the game you love to play and getting paid for it is more exciting and fun as well as bringing a whole new vision to the sport of pool.
Q: How many games can I play in IPO league?
A: ALOT!!! As many as you can on your schedule. IPO league gives our players the advantage of playing as often as they would like. And with whom they want. The only requirement is that player must play a minimum of 12 matches per session in order to be a qualified player for that session’s winner payouts.
Q: How players are ranked?
A: We believe that IPO league has created the most comprehensive ranking system available. Our players are ranked from 100 to 980.
This allows a wide range of skills even within a skill set. (ex. 2 players may both be ranked in the 400 but one might be a 402 and one could be a 494)
